LE CHOCOLATIER

Anna-Engel is the head chocolatier, pastry chef, and business woman of the Canadian chocolate company: Le Chocolatier.

Her passion is for creativity, sourcing the highest quality and most flavourful ingredients available, ensuring that the finished product is nothing but the absolute best possible.

Coming from a background of strict fine dining, Anna has contributed to numerous menus within the Bow Valley. To list a few: Eden at The RimRock Resort Hotel as well as The primrose dining room and chocolate shop, multiple summer and winter backcountry lodges with CMH Heli-Skiing as Pastry Chef. She has even helped open two new businesses in Banff, one restaurant and one bakery. Over all the years that she has gained valuable experience, one of the more unique ways was through working as a stagière in some of the world's best Michelin starred restaurants (Eleven Madison Park, NY) and Chocolateries (Thomas Haas, Vancouver).

Anna brings her own unique hand to the classic chocolate shop experience. To inspire you with flavours, spark your curiosity, and in the end make your body and mind exclaim "YUM that was good"!
