SHARON PARKER
In 1995 I left my career in dentistry to become involved in the arts. I crafted professionally for eight years, participating in shows in Calgary, Edmonton and Red Deer.
In 2005 I discovered my passion working with stained glass and mosaic and created in this medium for many years. In 2010 I was awarded the People’s Choice Award by Parks Canada for work entered in the Radium Hot Springs Art Show.
In 2012 I discovered a new passion working with alcohol ink. It has opened up a whole new world of creativity for me and the infinite possibilities of this medium still fascinate me today.
Currently my art work is on display at Village Arts in Invermere, BC, Muk-Luk Magpies in Airdrie, Alberta and Magnolia Handicrafts in Jasper, Alberta.
